We tried an online booking which didnt go as well as we had hoped, but Leon Inder made time for us and was extremely helpful, obviously experienced and came up with a carpet solution that fitted the rooms and for a reasonable cost. The young men that did the fitting were respectful, helpful and professional. They did a great job and the rooms look great. Our carpet was layed about 6 months ago and it was obvious that we needed 3 extra edging strips which were not in original quote. We had to wait but the job completed recently at no extra cost. AMAZING EXPERIENCE from Chris and his van with samples and giving me a quote on the spot (something Carpet Court took more than a week to do), Lucy in admin with her prompt responses to my emails and the guys installing the carpet, friendly, helpful and respectful. I love my carpet, it is everything Chris said it would be!!! Harrison's price was better than Carpet Court and they could install it about 6 weeks earlier than Carpet Court as well. From beginning to end, the whole of my experience was really good with Harrisons carpet. Lucy on the phone was always friendly and helpful through out the process. The quote was very quickly given to us and the laying of the carpet was delayed enough for us to empty out the several cabinets and bookcases we had. The guys who came to lay the carpet were friendly and helpful too and hen we had a couple of small problems, Lucy was quick to get a layer back and he was just as friendly to fix things. Great service from Amy and her team at Harrisons Rodney - we love our new carpet! It was great having Amy come out to our house to show me the carpet samples and then leave a few so I could get the rest of the family's opinion - I'm too indecisive! The new carpet is great quality (oh so comfortable), the price was competitive and the installation was excellent. We have a two-storey house and needed to get the downstairs done as it was flood damaged and had been half ripped out, but we had a lot of things happening at the time (including a house guest for 8 weeks) and couldn't face doing the whole house at that same time. Amy was happy for the installation to be split, which meant we could get some walls painted etc before the new carpet went down in the upstairs area. We were then also able to install the upstairs carpet over 2 days so that we could move furniture around in between, making the installation less daunting as we didn't have to move furniture between the levels! I would recommend Harrisons Rodney to anyone looking to replace their carpet.

Excellent customer service - prompt communication, Amy was able to arrange everything over the phone and measure and install was seamless. Amy was fantastic at managing the entire process to coincide with property settlement, even recommending carpet colour via emailed photos. My house is transformed with the new carpet and I highly recommend Harrison’s for flooring.

Given this was a refit of a very busy office during work hours this was an amazing achievement. Daniel and his team worked around us and were excellent to deal with. We love our carpet, it looks great and has completely transformed our home. Selecting what we wanted was super easy. We had a whole house lot installed which was a big job but Harrisons made it as stress free as possible. There jewel in their crown was without a doubt the installers Daniel and Zack. They were friendly, super-efficient and total professionals. Nothing was a problem, whether a help with a lift or a super suggestion of changing the look of the stairs with a bull nose fit. Perfect. To top it off we had blinds and curtains installed that go super well with the look of our house. Harrisons top job, we thoroughly recommend you and will be customers again.

The tradesman phoned the evening before confirming he would be coming and was on time in the morning which was great. He laid our vinyl planking down in the kitchen and did a very good job. I am fussy about corners and angles and everyone was measured and fitted perfectly. He left the place spotless after the job was finished. I recommend him for doing such a neat job.
An added bonus he brought his delightful Blue Merle Border Collie who waited patiently in his van the entire time, having a run in the local park at lunchtime. Such a super, obedient beautiful dog too.

Bryan and Sue Turley came to my townhouse at 32H Point Ridge Ave two months ago when I replied to an advertisement for Harrisons Carpets Hobsonville. They were very knowledgeable and helpful right from the beginning of the process. I had a lot of wood flooring and they mapped out what would look better if most of it was removed. They had carpet samples which they bought into the unit so I could sort through and pick the colour I would like. Paul and his team are outstanding! Nothing was too much of a problem, making the entire process easy, efficient and stress free. His team are super friendly and very helpful. Many businesses have a pretty good team but the one thing that often bugs me is a lack of communication. We were extremely satisfied with the whole process from consultation to completion. Paul, from Harrisons, was particularly attentive and patient with us, as an elderly couple who rarely purchase carpets, over a number of weeks, helping us to find a particular colour and style for our lounge that matches our existing colours, style, and comfort. According to my interaction with Harrison’s team and Paul Cowan I can say they are very considerate and sensible business unlike many others. On my request, Paul made time in the weekend and helped me understand difference of each product category and suitability. He took the measurements quickly and also consulted with the Installer to clarify things before confirming. Quote was given quickly and he was not pushy either. We did not get the floor installed because our plans changed. However, I am happy to recommend Paul from Harrison’s to people looking to get their flooring done.

We used Harrisons recently when we had a crisis with another supplier not able to do the install where a tenant was moving into the house. What amazing service! I can truly say they walked the extra mile... They understood our problem, came to site the same day to quote the work onsite, no waiting on the quote due to circumstances. The install happended as they said, no changes. We realised halveway though the install there was some info not communicated between parties from both ends and they just went ahead and fixed it, no extra charge or questions why! Got there one evening afer hours and the installer was still working to make the deadline we had. They have truly been amazing and i look forward to working with them again and will definitely refer to them in future! Thank you spesifically to the installers. Michelle and Devon are fantastic. We have used their services twice now for carpet, vinyl and vinyl plank install. The initial consultation was excellent Devon was very informative and helpful. The timeframe from first contact to installation was 6 months. We are so happy with the service provided by Neil and Kirsty at Harrisons Bay of Plenty. We were deciding between them and a competitor to do hard flooring and carpet in our home and ultimately chose Harrisons due to the products they offered. From start to finish they made the process very easy. Everything was on time and exactly as promised. We are over the moon with the result! The contractors they used to lay the flooring (in our case, laminate and carpet) were on time, professional, and very efficient. We had one small issue with baseboard undercutting which they rectified within 24 hours and we are very happy with the solution. There was no pushback and they were eager to help. My experience with Harrisons was awesome! Neil who did my initial measure and quote was great. He was very honest about what kind of carpet would suit my needs and i didnt feel like i was being upsold the whole time, everything he said made sense. Everything went very well yesterday. Plumber early and was gone quite quickly after removing the toilet and helping Alan move the washing machine which was a great help. I was looking to have some carpet laid. A lady came into the shop and was saying she was having carpet laid at that moment by Harrisons. Mentioned that she had had excellent service. I phoned Jeff Burson and he was at the house the next day. I was impressed with the way we (my husband and I) were treated. He was just so helpful and let us take our time (in other words dither around) but he did not hurry us at all. Everything was signed and we knew that the carpet would go down on the 4th of May. The men came and lay the carpet on the 4th of may. Well I was just blown away with the way these men got on and did their job. I was even asked if all the furniture was in the right place because they would put them in the correct place for us. I am thrilled with the carpet, the laying, the finish and the service. Daniel responded very quickly to our request to see samples and to have our bedrooms measured, in order to get quotes. The samples that he provided really met our needs and we were able to choose two possible samples immediately. Daniel quickly provided quotes and once we had made our choice worked very hard to get us the best possible price. He also was able to set up an installation date in a very timely fashion. There was one issue when that installation date which was perfect for our daughter, based on her moving date to her new home, had to be adjusted but the company worked with us to make the best of the situation. Fred was super accommodating with providing several quotes for the different options I was considering for my flooring and was even able to source 1 of my preferences that weren’t available in the standard ranges for me. Fred was friendly, professional, and flexible and had no problems coming back to bring me more samples when I started having doubts about my initial selection. I’ve heard some real horror stories lately from people who’ve had terrible experiences with other flooring companies lately e.g. long contractor/installer delays, quotes taking forever and materials shortages but, I couldn’t have been happier with the quick turnaround and service through Harrisons. My quotes came through quickly and there was a super fast turnaround for the installers being booked in and coming to complete the jobs. The communication through Fred was fantastic, and the installers always turned up on time when he said they were going to. They were also really flexible and accommodating around a couple of issues with my subfloor that needed to be remedied during both of their installs. Fred’s knowledge and experience were a godsend with his recommendations for my flooring and the installer's work was high quality, fast and efficient as well as always leaving the site super clean and tidy. Shaun is fast, friendly and so well priced I could not believe how quickly he came back to me with a really great price - and when it came time to lay the carpet - I got a call the night before checking in from both Shaun and the carpet layer confirming timing. We contacted our local Harrisons experts Nathan and Gena for a carpet quote and they duly fitted us in. We knew we were able to pick the carpet samples on site, but Nathan made it really easy by explaining the differences and we only had to take a few inside, I even decided to get a quote for vinyl as well when I saw what he had in his van! I was further surprised when I realised he could do the measure and quote on the spot! It was an easy decision to accept their quote. I had really fretted about the job of getting the carpets laid. Honestly I had nightmares.
Well it couldn't have been easier. I had spent weeks cleaning out cupboards etc even so I couldn't help worrying about how the whole thing would come together. Russell had promised they would move the heavy stuff.
Well it couldn't have been smoother. Russell and Max arrived early and removed the furniture for the room/rooms that was being done on the day. Wim got stuck in ripping up the old carpet and laying the new one. When he was finished for the day Russell and Max came back to get the furniture back.
Wim was flat out for 3 days, it was a delight to work with this delightful hardworking team. We even got to meet Shirley when she dropped Max off one day.
Oh, by the way, we love the carpet. My husband hadn't been all that keen, but he is delighted with the carpet and the workmanship.

I am absolutely delighted with the vinyl flooring installed in my kitchen and hallway. The final result has exceeded my expectations - the colour of the planks complement my grey kitchen cabinets making them look brand new - the kitchen looks as if it has had a full makeover. We had a house load of carpet installed early this year. There was a problem with a fault in the carpet and Kelly and Andrew Leys could not have been more helpful. They even came and helped remove the faulty carpet. Note the fault was a manufacturing problem not Harrison’s.
