Hybrid Flooring
Why choose hybrid flooring?
Hybrid flooring is engineered to handle everything New Zealand throws at it - from hot summers to damp winters and heavy foot traffic in between. It’s 100% waterproof, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms, and its UV-resistant coating helps it retain colour and strength even under strong sunlight. Designed with a rigid, comfortable core and a scratch-resistant surface, hybrid flooring gives you the look of timber with the durability of vinyl and laminate combined. Hybrid flooring offers a stylish, low-maintenance solution that’s perfect for busy Kiwi homes.

Hybrid flooring offers good UV resistance, helping to minimise fading over time. Like all flooring, prolonged direct sunlight may cause slight colour changes, especially in areas with floor to ceiling windows.
For rooms with high UV exposure, we recommend window tinting and treatments such as blinds and curtains. Our Harrisons Curtain & Blinds team can provide specialist advice and recommendations during a free in-home consultation.
