One million reasons to feel proud

At Harrisons, we’ve always believed that a home should be a place that feels safe, warm, and full of love. And for over 17 years, we’ve extended that belief beyond the four walls of your home - to the whānau and communities that make New Zealand what it is.

Since 2008, Harrisons has donated over $1,000,000 to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ - helping fund life-saving research, education, and patient support programmes.

As a long-term major partner of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, we now pledge $100,000 annually from the sales of our flooring, curtains, blinds, and solar panels.

That’s not a small number. That’s real money going to real people - mothers, wives, aunties, daughters, sisters - at some of the hardest moments of their lives.

We’re incredibly proud of this partnership, and we want to keep giving!

Where does the money go?

The money we donate to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ supports three core areas:

  1. Awareness and education - including nurse educators who travel the country in their iconic pink campervans.
  2. Patient support - from specialist breast cancer nurses and counselling to physiotherapy and clinical workshops.
  3. Research and innovation - funding the national Breast Cancer Register and grants that bring new discoveries and clinical trials to New Zealand.

Why Breast Cancer Foundation NZ needs support

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ receives no government funding.  Every dollar from major partners like Harrisons, Stuff, Farmers, Griffins Snacks, and Estée Lauder go directly towards programmes that help more New Zealanders get faster diagnoses, better care, and brighter outcomes. The foundation actively advocates for change at a government level.
