Since 2008, Harrisons has donated over $1,000,000 to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ - helping fund life-saving research, education, and patient support programmes.
As a long-term major partner of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, we now pledge $100,000 annually from the sales of our flooring, curtains, blinds, and solar panels.
Harrisons are proud to get behind such an important charity that helps mothers, wives, daughters and sisters all around NZ.
You can see the latest donation amount on our Harrisons About Us page.
Pink Ribbon Walk
Harrisons dusted off our pinkest outfit and joined thousands as we walked for our loved ones in the annual Pink Ribbon Walk, in both Christchurch at Hagley Park and Auckland at the Domain, driving further awareness and fundraising.
Harrisons Pink Tees
The Harrisons Flooring team showed their support throughout October by purchasing and wearing pink Harrisons T-shirts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is most treatable when it’s caught early. Please make time for regular mammograms and do monthly self-checks. For information, resources and support, visit Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.

Where does the money go?
The money we donate to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ supports three core areas:
- Awareness and education - including nurse educators who travel the country in their iconic pink campervans.
- Patient support - from specialist breast cancer nurses and counselling to physiotherapy and clinical workshops.
- Research and innovation - funding the national Breast Cancer Register and grants that bring new discoveries and clinical trials to New Zealand.
Breast Cancer Foundation NZ receives no government funding. Every dollar from major partners like Harrisons go directly towards programmes that help more New Zealanders get faster diagnoses, better care, and brighter outcomes.
